Who We Are
DeskHorizon is a Windows 11 desktop app and website. In this policy, "DeskHorizon," "we," "our," and "us" refer to the DeskHorizon product and website operator.
Information The Windows App Accesses
DeskHorizon is designed to restore project workspaces on your own computer. Depending on the features you use, the app may access project names, workspace layout, selected folders, browser profiles, local notes, terminal commands, screenshots, recordings, focus timer settings, music settings, voice commands, and app configuration.
This information is stored locally on your device. We do not receive your local workspace data, browser logins, notes, screenshots, recordings, folders, terminal history, or API keys unless you intentionally submit information to us through support or feedback.
Optional Voice And AI Features
If you enable voice control or AI features, DeskHorizon may process your voice commands or text prompts to perform the action you request. When a feature uses your own OpenAI or other AI provider key, your key is stored locally on your device and the request is sent to the provider you choose under that provider's terms and privacy policy.
You can avoid these external AI transfers by not enabling voice or AI-provider features.
Website, Store Purchase And Feedback Information
When you use this website, we may receive basic server information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time. This is used to keep the site secure, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.
Purchases, downloads and updates are handled by Microsoft Store. Microsoft may collect payment details, billing information, account information, device eligibility information, fraud-prevention information, download records, update records and related Store activity under Microsoft's own terms and privacy policy. We do not store your full card number.
If you send feedback from inside the DeskHorizon app, we collect the feedback type, title, details, optional email address, optional screenshot or picture, promotion votes, and basic anti-abuse information. Feedback is not posted publicly; it is visible only to us and, within the app, to other DeskHorizon owners.

Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to operate DeskHorizon, process payments, provide services you request, comply with law, protect users, or use service providers such as hosting, storage, analytics-free server logging, payment processing, email, and optional AI providers you configure.
Security And Storage
DeskHorizon stores app data locally on your Windows device. Sensitive local values, such as API keys or offline entitlement tokens, should be protected using Windows security features such as DPAPI or Credential Manager.
For website and feedback data, we use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as HTTPS, size limits, input validation, access controls, and rate limits. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not submit secrets, passwords, private keys, or confidential customer data through feedback.
Your Choices
- You can choose which projects, folders, profiles, screenshots, recordings, and notes to keep in DeskHorizon.
- You can delete local DeskHorizon data from your device using the app or Windows storage controls.
